Joining a Club

In most countries to play golf you need to be part of a golf club. To join a golf club you need to have a Greencard. You will also have to pay a yearly membership fee to be part of the club. If you want to play in the club, you need to either by a share of the club, rent a share from someone or then pay everytime you play. If you play often it's cheaper to rent or buy a share, however is you only play once in a while you may consider buying a green fee everytime you play.

In some countries it's easier and cheaper to join a club than in others. Before choosing a club, it's good to read reviews of different golf clubs and go to see each of your options. One thing that you should consider when lookin for a club is that do you play golf as a sport or for social reasons. Then you should find a club that emphasizes one of the two.
